{Recipe} Company Chicken

We're back with another tasty recipe. This time it's Company Chicken from a church cookbook! Yum-o! Those ladies at FBCTW know how to cook! :)

6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (I only used 4 and it worked out okay too)
6 slices of Provolone cheese
10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
1/2 soup can of water
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix or crushed croutons

In 9x13 inch greased baking dish, arrange chicken and top each piece with cheese. Mix soup and water and pour over chicken. For topping, mix melted butter and stuffing mix and sprinkle over chicken. Bake uncovered at 350* for 45 min. or until done.

This one is a man-pleaser (at least my man!). I fed it to my family plus my 22 year old brother and they both gave it good reviews. Hope you have the same results. Enjoy!!

  1. I am definately trying this one out!

  2. Church cookbooks are some of my favorite ones - those ladies really know how to cook! This recipe looks like a keeper!

  3. I'm verging on the borderline of Vegetarian.
I don't eat hardly any meat, but I do however eat chicken, which actually has a title, pollo vegetarian.
anyway, so since I do eat chicken and only ALL WHITE meat and completely naturally raised chicken, I am always ALWAYS looking for recipes!!

    Thanks for sharing

  4. @Brianna! well keep checking the blog... we typically eat chicken most of the time so most all my recipes will be chicken based! glad to have you stop by. ~ Lindsay

  5. I make this too, but my recipe used Swiss. I'll have to try Provolone. YUM! It's fabulous!! Lovin' your blog!

  6. I made this last night and it was DELISH!!! Thank you!!!

  7. @Kristi Glad you tried it out!! (and that you liked it too!) Check back next week... we'll have a new recipe.
